I found this while going through old files and thought I should add it to my collection.
I walked up to your door and knocked softly. When I didn’t hear a response, I was worried that you may have gone out for the night. I began to think that I was going to be alone yet again — left to the bottle of tequila and a small collection of poorly written action films.
Slowly, I heard a rustle inside the room and the clack of the deadbolt as you cautiously unlocked the doorway to your heart. Through the crack in the door I saw true love disheveled. Once opened completely, you held out your hand beckoning me to come inside — far enough away to make me come to you, yet close enough to make sure your wishes were known.
My hand gravitated towards your undeniable beauty and I became entangled once again in the hopes and dreams of the greatest power of all.
