I’ve been needing new jeans for a while. Up until recently I had 3 pairs of jeans… Hold up! I hate saying “pairs of jeans.” It makes no sense. According to M-W, a pair is defined as:

1 a (1) : two corresponding things designed for use together [a pair of shoes] (2) : two corresponding bodily parts or members [a pair of hands] b : something made up of two corresponding pieces [a pair of trousers]

Fine, so we put the two pieces together and turn ourselves around and now we have a pair of pants. I still don’t agree.

Anyway, back to my story. I had 3 pairs of jeans. One ripped at the knee and the other magically became too short for me so my socks tend to show. I can’t stand having any portion of my socks showing, ever. I know other people with odd sock conditions but this is mine. Therefore, I needed new jeans.

Finding new jeans was actually not that hard. I’ve been shopping a fwe times recently and I’ve tried Gap, Hollister, Armani Exchange, and Banana Republic but didn’t have much luck until I went to American Eagle. I like AE’s jeans. They fit well and I don’t need some crazy size like I did with most of the other stores; just a regular old 30/32.

Amy and Adam insinuated I wasn’t cool because I’m not following the whole IN craze with Verizon. What they don’t realize is that I’m the trendsetter now and I’m the one they should be following. I really like Nextel’s new i830 and will most likely get that if Nextel has good reception where I’ll be in Maryland. I know someone down here with that phone, so I guess I’m a follower in that respect. Crap. At least I was a trendsetter at one time.
