My mouth hurts
26Nov2004 Filed under: Uncategorized Author: Jason LancasterLast Thursday I had dental impressions done. My throat had been swollen for a few days but I didn’t think much of it. When they did the impressions they scraped up the back of my lower jaw gums where I had my wisdom teeth removed. They hurt a little through the weekend but by Monday I could barely chew on that side of my mouth. Now my mouth is all swollen and hurts so freakin bad.
The dentist called me in some antibiotics. I’ll pick them up in a few and hope for the best. The antibiotics should take care of my throat too. We’re guessing my throat was infected and then got into my gums? This marks my third major mouth infection since June. Time to take out the tonsils? Mom says yes; I’d rather not. Especially because I wanted to try and go to Mexico in January.

From what I’ve heard, you don’t want to be in Mexico and get sick. My bro-in-law Richard was at a conference there once and someone needed surgery. He had to pay off the hospital staff to get them to use clean equipment. (He was the only person at the conference who spoke enough Spanish to be understood.) It left quite an impression on him, and Richard is a huge risk taker. I’d do tonsils before Mexico.

If you have to get tonsils out do it as soon as possible because you’ll be out for at least 10 days. Also, eat many milkshakes because you cannot afford to lose 15 pounds!! I know from experience

MEXICO! EWWW…You’re suppose to come see me, not go to Mexico…I will never EVER forgive you if you go to Mexico instead of seeing me! Oh, and don’t expect to have a place to stay in South Florida if you go to Mexico ever again! Hey, if you don’t come it’s ok, I’ll just play Halo 2 on my 60″ TV by myself!
