Poison ivy

It’s been a few years since I’ve had poison ivy… in fact I think it’s been about 5. I used to get it a lot but I stopped spending a lot of time in the woods. Now that I’m playing paintball in the woods I guess it’s time to start getting poison ivy again, making extra preparations for preventing it (like that special soap), and buying the necessary ingredients to fight an onslaught.

I don’t think it will be too bad this time. I’m sure it will spread but it’s only on the fingers of my left hand. That will prevent me from playing guitar for a few days if it gets really bad but for now I can deal.

If I’m ignoring you don’t be upset. This week is really rough with school — and trying to fit work in leaves me with no time to think about anything other than myself.

I am a Lindy Hopper, a style of dance that began in the early 1920’s. I dance and help run Charm City Swing, Baltimore’s premier swing dancing venue.

I live to climb. I primarily enjoy bouldering; the lack of ropes make bouldering the purest of all climbing styles. My favorite local gym is Earth Treks, Timmonium.

Pi isn’t fun to have and over time you develop an immunity that is what happened with me. Washing after exposure and applying a topical agent sometimes help. Good luck with school! I’m in the midst of writing finals.
