I’ve got a secret. I installed and have been tweaking wordpress all weekend. The wonderful thing about wordpress is the copious amount of features it has.
I have not had the time to setup a theme. What you see here is the default theme. So far, I spent my time migrating all of my old comments — including comments once thought to have been lost forever on older posts in my homegrown system. I also spent some time giving some newer posts categories so things are easier to browse.
This will be good.
The new site is looking good. I hope that you can add some of the great features of the old site. I really liked the “new content” rss/email subscription feature. The comment followup email feature was neat. Looking forward to seeing how the site evolves.
I’m not sure that I like this format, J. I think the one thing that pushes it over the edge is that Jason Lancaster is really big at the top. I feel like it is the opening to your resume. Maybe when you find another format that you like, I will like it better.
The format is going to change because this is the default theme. My site looks just like 500 million others right now. I can’t have that!
Qq, Does WordPress have the facility to show the comments the way they were presented on the old site?

She says this like it’s a bad thing.
Still, it is a very ORDINARY looking default format — I’m sure you’ll do something classy and cool with this tool when you’ve had a chance to work with it a bit.
Jc, what does the big “?” mean in the comment field. The work in progress is looking good…
Passing along a possible website enhancement…When I mouse over the house icon it says “inicio” and when I mouse over the radiating brackets its says “sindicaci;on” I like the way the site is evolving.
